About Steve

Steve is the technical half of our pair, and he has spent years learning how light behaves. He has an incredible eye for detail, making sure the light, the background and everything in between work together to tell the story of your day the way you want it told.

Lighting is everything in a beautiful photograph. It sets brightness and shadow, but also tone, mood and atmosphere – and nobody wants a wedding memory without atmosphere. Steve’s ability to shape light gives your photographs texture, rich colour and real depth, a skill many photographers overlook.

His passion for the craft and his habit of keeping up with every new technique means we can create any style of photograph you have set your heart on. Steve’s warmth and easy humour take him from being one of the lads with the groomsmen in the morning to one of the family by the evening.

Above all, Steve captures your day exactly as it happens. The laughs, the tears, your uncle’s terrible dance moves – all of it, naturally. You bring the party, and he brings home the memories.

About Felicity

Felicity is Steve’s daughter, and she grew up around cameras – so picking one up herself was only ever a matter of time. She is the one who will be beside you through the quiet moments of the day, from the first nervous hair pin in the morning to the last hug before you leave.

Her style is gentle, observant and completely unposed. Felicity notices the things that pass in a second: your mum’s face as you turn around in your dress, your best friend wiping her eyes during the speeches, the pair of you stealing thirty seconds alone. Those are the photographs people cry over years later.

She is also the calm voice on the day. Guests relax around her, children adore her, and nervous couples quickly forget she is holding a camera at all – which is exactly when the best pictures happen.

Why a father and daughter make a great pair

Working with family means we never have to explain ourselves to each other. We know instinctively where the other one is standing, so we cover your day from two angles at once without ever being in each other’s way – or in yours.

While Steve is photographing the ceremony from the front, Felicity is quietly capturing the faces of everyone watching. While Steve sets up the portraits, Felicity is with your guests catching the laughter. You get both halves of your wedding day, not just the part everyone looks at.

We are based in Bromsgrove, but regularly travel across the UK and internationally for the perfect picture. Between us there are four adorable dogs, a lot of long walks and a firm belief in cocktails in the sunshine.
